Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Moonmoot. Short, plain, and honest about what the board can and cannot do.

Last updated 5 July 2026

These terms govern your use of Moonmoot's website and product. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

What the service is

Moonmoot is an AI advisory board for owner-operated businesses. It reads data from tools you connect and gives you analysis, suggestions, and coaching aimed at your revenue, profit, and long-term value. It is a decision-support tool.

What it is not

Moonmoot is not a substitute for professional advice. Its output is not regulated financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and it does not create a professional or fiduciary relationship. Use its suggestions as informed input to your own decisions, and consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation. The board is designed to be honest and to flag uncertainty, but you are responsible for the decisions you make.

Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account.
  • You must give accurate information and keep it current.
  • You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction and use Moonmoot for a lawful business purpose.

Connected services

When you connect a tool (for example a booking system, point of sale, bank, or Google Drive), you authorise Moonmoot to access the data needed to provide the feature, as described in our Privacy Policy. Our access is read-only unless stated otherwise. Your use of those third-party tools remains subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. You can disconnect any integration at any time.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use Moonmoot to break the law, infringe others' rights, or process data you have no right to share.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
  • Do not resell or misrepresent the service.

Fees

Paid plans are billed as agreed during onboarding. Your price is confirmed before you commit. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable for periods already served, and we may change pricing on renewal with reasonable notice.

Results and estimates

Any figures, valuations, or ranges the board gives are estimates based on the data available, not guarantees. Where we describe growth outcomes, they depend on your own actions and circumstances and are not promises of a specific result. We measure rather than claim, and we will tell you when a number is a floor or an estimate rather than a verified fact.

Intellectual property

Moonmoot and its content are owned by us or our licensors. Your data remains yours; you grant us the permissions needed to operate the service for you. You may use the board's output for your own business.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. This does not exclude any rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Moonmoot is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You can stop using Moonmoot and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or if needed to protect the service or others. On termination, the parts of these terms that should survive (such as fees owed, disclaimers, and liability limits) continue to apply.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will change the date above when we do, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law where you live provides otherwise.
